Collaborating
Style savvy let's you collaberate with all 15 brands, exception of Masquerade. There are many aspects to collaborating which I will cover in the following information.
What is Collaborating? Collaborating is when you help a brand pick colours (different from the original) for a certain item that they designed.
How to Collaborate? You must sell and buy a lot of a certian brand to collaborate with them. A good way to sell a particular brand is to have a store interior that mimics the brands "look", "style", "feel" or "ambiance".
Once you sell a lot of a certain brand, a brand rep should enter your store. They will most likely give you a compliment about your store and then get to the chase. They will ask you if you would like to collaborate with them. If so, select yes. If not, select no and they will leave. Most likely a different brand rep will come to your store asking you to collaborate later in the day if you leave your store and then enter it again.
Once you have agreed to collaborate with a brand, you cannot collabortate with another brand that day. To select the colors for your collaboration you must go to your store's menu. Select the Guest Designer area. The brand rep has left the item with a note. From there you will be able to select the colors for the item. (NOTE: If you are collaborating a solid color item, you will only choose 1 color but if you are collaborating an item with more than one color you MUST pick two colors.) You can not pick the same colors as the original design because then it wouldn't be a collaboration. The game resticks you from doing this. Once you are happy with your colors, you can give the brand rep a call and they will ask if you want to manufacture your collaboration. You can select Yes, Please to do so or if you still want to adjust the colors you can select No.
After manufacturing your collaboration, you will recieve the item the next day when you enter your store. The brand rep will give you 10 items (full stock) FREE! Also, when you collaborate, the item is also shipped to your apartment for you to wear!
Why Collaborate? Collaborating is a great way to make money and build a good partnership with your favorite brands! A customer is always more eager to buy a collaboration than a normal item, especially if it's a collaboration with one of their favorite brands! This means more money for you and you didn't even have to pay anything for full stock of an item. (Especially good if it's Alvarado, a very expensive brand) When customers try on a collaboration they might give you some comments about it like "Oh, I didn't know you were collaborating with ________!" or "So it is true that you are collaborating with _______!" Then they will have you ring them up right away!
Now that you know the inside scoop about collaborating, it's time that I let out a little secret! For each season, there are a few items that are available for collaboration in each brand! So, the items that you can collaborate are different each season! Below, I have a list of all the possible collaborating items for each brand. I did not add which season you can collaborate them, but if you are eager to know that information, leave a comment and I will be happy to post it!
